The West Paces Ferry shopping center proudly displays its ’50s nostalgia, thanks to the OK Cafe, Tommy’s Barber Shop and Wender & Roberts drug store, all of which have been around since before the roads were paved!

Being in the middle of everything is great, but it means that traffic can be a real nuisance. Drivers pass through the neighborhood’s main roads, West Paces Ferry Road and Northside Parkway, to get anywhere and everywhere.

Several 100-acre European estates that dominated the landscape in the early 1900s have been carved up into a pleasant mix representing distinct time periods.


Directly south of West Paces Ferry Road and north of Northside Parkway and bordering I-75, West Paces Ferry – Northside is in prime Buckhead territory.

 Tommy’s Barber shop has been a neighborhood fixture for gossip, politics, and the occasional haircut (haha) over the last 50 years.
