While the neighborhood is easily accessible from West Paces Ferry Road, it is an enclosed neighborhood with no through traffic. There are multiple cul de sacs in this uniquely peaceful Buckhead neighborhood. Neighborhood walkers and children alike enjoy the quiet streets away from the main thoroughfares nearby.

Pace Academy is just across the street, and Kingswood is a short drive to many of Atlanta’s best private schools. The address is also within the award-winning Jackson Elementary school district. An active voluntary neighborhood association oversees off-duty police patrols, as well as organized neighborhood social events.

What We Love

The family-friendly environment. No cut-through traffic accommodates long afternoon walks, playing in the street for kids, and serious runners.

What We Don’t

West Paces Ferry is consistently a congested road being a main east/west artery. Living in Kingswood means you have no “back way” out.

Homes in Kingswood start around $1 million. Some of the best Buckhead ranch homes from the 1950s are here, set in beautiful landscapes.

Location

In the center of West Paces Ferry Rd. (which traverses Buckhead), Kingswood is a strategic location for many Buckhead families. Pace Academy is right across the street.  While other private schools like The Westminster Schools and Atlanta International School are equidistant from this location.
