The German American Cultural Foundation is bringing the Atlanta Christkindl Market to Buckhead Village this year. This holiday tradition was popular in Centennial Olympic Park in 2019, but last year’s event was cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns. The organizers are excited to re-launch the German Christmas market at the corner of East Paces Ferry Road and Bolling Way.
Events like the Atlanta Christkindl Market are part of the GACF’s ongoing mission to promote and preserve German language and culture in the southeastern US. Enjoy traditional German food, like brats and schnitzel, and stay warm with hot chocolate, cider, and mulled wine. Explore more than 50 vendors to discover the perfect holiday gift. You’ll find toys, jewelry, and traditional German handcrafts. Stop by Santa’s house for a photo with the big man himself!
Atlanta’s Christkindl Market kicks off with a grand opening celebration on November 26, and runs through January 2. It promises to be a festive new holiday tradition in the Buckhead Village District.
