What We Love
The park, playground, and Beltline are integrated pleasantly into the center of the neighborhood and are the center of attention, providing an outlet for young active families to enjoy the nature that abounds in this sweet residential area.
What We Don’t
Collier Road is a busy cut-through from Northside to Peachtree Road, and it runs through the center of the neighborhood which adds traffic to an otherwise peaceful area.
Most of the homes were built by developer Herbert W. Nicholes shortly after World War II as compact cottages. Most home prices in the area range from $650,000 – $850,000 and lots tend to be about ⅓ acre each.
Collier Hills is bordered by I-75 to the south, Northside Drive to the west, Tanyard Creek State Park on the eastern edge, and Atlanta Memorial Park to the north.
Memorial Park, the Beltline, Springlake Park, and Spring Valley Park add much needed greenspace to an otherwise bustling residential area. Sports enthusiasts enjoy the amenities at Bobby Jones Golf Course and the Bitsy Grant Tennis Center, both of which border the neighborhood.
