It provides a central place for families to gather during the summer months, offering a heated 25-meter pool, a baby pool, lighted tennis courts, a playground, and social events. The club, which often has a waiting list for membership, reinforces the family-oriented and tight-knit atmosphere of Pine Hills, drawing its primary membership from the immediate neighborhood and the local Sarah Rawson Smith Elementary school district.
What We Love
The single best feature of Pine Hills is its successful blend of secluded suburban tranquility with unmatched proximity to premier city amenities. Residents enjoy a peaceful, green environment with mature trees, rolling hills, and walkable, well-maintained streets, which provides a genuine respite from city life.
What We Don’t
A downside for residents of Pine Hills is the significant and often heavy traffic congestion on the key surface streets that border or pass through the area, particularly Lenox Road, which connects to I-85. While the neighborhood’s interior streets are generally quiet, commuting can be a challenge.
