Originally designed in 1968 by Francis Palmer Smith and his son Henry. Francis directed Georgia Tech’s Department of Architecture from 1909 to 1922 and trained a generation of the South’s most celebrated architects, leaving his mark on Atlanta’s skyline for decades. 3990 Paces Ferry is a genuine piece of Atlanta history. Completely rebuilt in 2025 in a 2.5 year collaboration between HARVIN, T2Greene Builders, architect John Plaster, and Field Landscape Design. 9,754 square feet that lives like brand new construction with the soul of something irreplaceable. They simply don’t build them like this anymore.
