Corso Atlanta is the new luxury senior living community in Buckhead, at 3200 Howell Mill Road. The community was conceived and built by Galerie Living. CEO and Founder Tim Gary’s original vision to “bring a block of Paris to Buckhead” has worked like a charm. We reported on the community as it was under construction last year, and new residents will take up residence as soon as the permits are in and the details are finished.

Parisian Style

Designers from Galerie Living spent time in Paris to study the architecture and lifestyle of the “City of Lights”. The exterior architecture of the Corso complex immediately invokes the Paris skyline, but the similarities don’t stop there. There are stylistic cues throughout the interiors as well. You’ll find small bistro tables and brass globe light fixtures you would expect to find in a Parisian cafe. The Tea House is a free-standing building that would be at home on the banks of the Seine.

Residents won’t find boring hallways between their homes and Corso’s amenities. Corso offers residents numerous opportunities to participate in the community. Emily Hamrin, Marketing Director of Galerie Living, explained the concept they refer to as “Moments of happiness”. Everywhere you look there is an inviting public space where residents can meet friends and visit with family, and most interior spaces feature natural light and a beautiful view.

Homes and Amenities

Residents can choose from over 45 different floor plans, including the signature City Homes. These unique units feature a front door and patio facing one of Corso’s two courtyards. Leases include 24/7 security, concierge service, and maintenance, in addition to the fabulous amenities.

There are four restaurants and a creperie on site. Other amenities include a market, a flower shop, full spa, and a hair salon. The community also includes multiple lounges, meeting rooms, and a theater. By the end of my tour I was a little bit jealous of the future residents at Corso Atlanta. This promises to be a vibrant community for Buckhead’s seniors.
