Transwestern, a commercial real estate company based in Houston, Texas with 34 markets across the country, has announced they will move their Southeast headquarters to the Atlanta Financial Center in Buckhead following a ten year residency at Tower Place. Their lease will encompass 17,000 square feet of office space on the top two floors of the building.

“AFC Buckhead offers our team members a new beginning in the wake of COVID-19 in a dramatic two-story space that will become a showpiece for our office and for the building,” said Bruce Ford, Transwestern’s East Region President in a statement on their website.

The move will be completed by March 2021 and will provide Transwestern with a modern, innovative workspace to allow the company to expand and meet evolving needs. “AFC Buckhead is unlike any other office property in Atlanta. The 18th and 19th floors offer a unique layout that can’t be found anywhere else with a two-story atrium and incredible views of Buckhead, Midtown and downtown,” said Kristine Maggio, Transwestern Executive Vice President. “When we started discussing the future of our office needs, we found AFC’s location, amenities and one-of-a-kind setting checked all the boxes.”

The Atlanta Financial Center is a 914,774 square foot office complex with three buildings located on a seven acre lot at 3343 Peachtree Road in Buckhead. The campus amenities include an outdoor park, access to GA400 and MARTA, a salon, florist, fitness center, spa, car detailing, restaurants, and retail.
