The annual Cathedral Antiques Show will return to the Cathedral of St. Philip at 2744 Peachtree Road. Since the event’s founding in 1969 the Cathedral Antiques Show has raised more than $50 million for local charities. The 2020 beneficiary to receive 100% of profits from the event is Moving in the Spirit, a program aimed to teach young people social, emotional, and cognitive skills through dance.

Celebrity speakers at this year’s event include Carson Kressley and Thom Filicia of Bravo’s original Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, international event designer and producer to royalty Bronson van Wyck, NYC’s preeminenet floral designers Putnam & Putnam who will judge the Iron Floral Competition, acclaimed architect Stan Dixon and renowned designer Jackye Lanham, and Atlanta silver historian, lecturer, author, and appraiser Joseph P. Brady. 

The Cathedral Tour of Homes will showcase 5 exceptional homes throughout Buckhead and North Atlanta that embody the finest in interior design, architecture, and style. Bolder spaces can be seen in the Young Collectors Home Tour which features 4 homes in the Haynes Manor neighborhood.

Visitors are invited to peruse 28 curated antiques dealers showcasing their furniture, art, jewelry, porcelain, silver, lighting, and rugs, including a special collection of mid-century modern items. The flower festival exhibits floral masterpieces throughout the main floor and Cathedral, plus vignettes by acclaimed Atlanta designers will demonstrate ways to incorporate antiques into modern design trends. 

Join the fun at the preview party wherein guests will have exclusive first access to the show at a gala party with entertainment, food, and wine. At the speakers’ cocktail party visitors get to meet-and-greet with celebrity speakers, and the young collectors party provides after-hours access to the show with food and cocktails exclusively for the under-40s crowd. Lunch can be purchased each day, and a complimentary tea service will be available on Thursday and Friday. 

This event, named Metamorphosis… Change is in the Air, will take place from Wednesday, January 22 through Sunday, January 26. Tickets start at $15 with a group discount and range up to $250 which includes access to the preview party gala.
