Village Park Senior Living has announced they have broken ground for a new facility, Atlanta Paces, at the site of the old West Paces Ferry Hospital at 3200 Howell Mill Road. The Village Park brand is known for European style architecture and luxurious amenities, offering a level of service and style that makes these complexes stand out from the rest. Designed by Village Park Senior Living CEO Tim Gary, the facility embodies a resort-like feel with a variety of living options and unparalleled care for residents.

The 8.9 acre property will include 203 units, some of which will be stand-alone city homes with lush gardens and the rest will be a mix of independent, assisted, and memory care options. Home styles include apartments, cottages, and bungalows. Potential residents will have a consultation with staff at the facility to determine which unit type and level of care is best for them.

Village Park offers light housekeeping, lawn maintenance, two meals a day in the dining hall, an emergency monitoring system, an on-site nurse for health and wellness assessments, and transportation to doctor’s appointments. The home units come with the basics such as full kitchens and laundry while the apartment units come unfurnished. Pets are allowed provided that the resident is able to adequately care for them.

“Beyond the stunning architecture, curated common spaces and calming ambience is the imperative goal to provide the highest level of care with the most sincere degree of empathy,” said Village Park Senior Living Community Relations Director Robert Ray. “Village Park Paces plans to be an all-level senior living community unlike any other in the southeast.”

Amenities include dining venues, bars, full-service salon, flower shop, outdoor pool, game rooms, library, clubhouse, and even a movie theater. The company has released renderings of what’s in store for the complex, and photos of their Alpharetta location give insight as to what future residents can expect once they open their doors in Spring of 2021.

Clearcutting is already underway at the future home of Village Park Atlanta Paces, drastically changing the appearance of Howell Mill Road. Here’s what the site looks like currently.
