At A Glance

Sandy Springs ITP “inside the I-285 perimeter” is not technically part of Buckhead, but it does share many of the amenities, location benefits, beauty and affluence that make up the Buckhead lifestyle. For this reason we include it here as a Buckhead neighborhood.

The natural surroundings of Sandy Springs ITP are complemented by a very strategic location for commuters. I-285 is just a few traffic-free minutes from most doorsteps to quickly connect you to the I-75, I-85 or 400 interstates, downtown Atlanta, and the world’s busiest airport. Northside Drive is a beautiful residential road that provides a direct connection to West Paces Ferry Rd, and from there on to Peachtree Road and other main Buckhead residential arteries.

Although property taxes in Sandy Springs ITP are only marginally lower than Buckhead proper, you will find that is a great point of pride and even an impetus to move here for many residents. Sandy Springs has been highlighted nationally for having one of the most innovative and efficient city governments in the country.

Sandy Springs ITP is conveniently located by a wide variety of retail. The Prado Shopping Center on Roswell Road has everything from casual dining spots like 5 Seasons Brewery to big box retailers like Target and Publix. What We Love

Sandy Spring ITP has a surprisingly rural feel. There are serene estates situated on as many as 25+ acres, and 1-3 acre properties are the norm.

What We Don’t

The “rural” curvy streets are not lined with sidewalks, but Chastain Park and the Chattahoochee National Park is close by for avid walkers.

Real Estate

Home prices start in the mid-$400Ks for a starter home or tear down and go up to $7,000,000+ for an opulent mansion.
