Vinings

At A Glance

Vinings is an unincorporated “village” just across the Chattahoochee River from the Paces neighborhood in Buckhead. Although not officially in Buckhead, locals love it because Vinings has many of the same benefits: proximity to the top private schools in Buckhead, convenient ITP location, great shopping and dining (Canoe restaurant on the banks of the Chattahoochee is one of the best in the city!)

This unique neighborhood is located in Cobb County. Cobb has a very generous “senior” property tax exemption that gives close to an 80 percent reduction in property taxes to those who are 62 or older – a perk that has led several empty-nester Buckhead clients to choose Vinings over Buckhead.

Many different neighborhood developments with a wide range of homes for sale, including older renovated homes, new construction homes, townhomes and condos, make up the neighborhood.

What We Love

The charming walkable village atmosphere, with beautiful homes set amongst natural scenery.

What We Don’t

The traffic resulting from Cobb Parkway and Vinings Square at commute times.

Real Estate

Made up of many different neighborhood developments, prices range from $400,000 and up.

Location

Vinings is located west of the Paces neighborhood, separated by the Chattahoochee River. Highway 285 and the Cumberland Parkway area is the western border.
